Nasdaq 100 Movers: TSLA, VRTX

In early trading on Friday, shares of Vertex Pharmaceuticals (VRTX) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 3.1%.  Year to date, Vertex Pharmaceuticals registers a 3.1% gain.
